BUP Admission Circular 2023–2024 has been published. Online application is started from December 2023. Bangladesh University of Professionals has four units; FASS, FBS, FST&FSSS. admission.bup.edu.bd is the admission website for BUP. Online application will be submitted through this website. Bangladesh University of Professionals admission is a lengthy process. First, the online application is taken from the eligible students. There will be BUP primary eligible list among the applicants. Those will be selected will get the BUP Admit card and participate in the admission test.
BUP Admission Circular 2023
BUP Admission circular 2022-23 is released by the BUP chairman. He announced BUP Admission test date for all units. Each unit has separate requirements. One candidate must fulfill the requirements if he wants to apply.
The first step of the admission system is online application. You must submit BUP Admission Form and participate in the admission test to get admission in BUP for 2023-24 session. BUP Admission Circular 2023 published on 23 February 2023. So you can easily download your admission from on bup website.
BUP Admission Notice 2023-24
The admission test will be held in different date for each unit. Admission in BUP is highly competitive, huge number of students apply for the BUP Admission. That’s why there is a primary short list made for the applicants first. Those are listed will be allowed to participate in the BUP Admission Test for 2022-23 session. BUP Admission Requirements
According to BUP Admission Circular, each unit has separate requirements for the application. One candidate must fulfill the requirements if he wants to apply. Four units are:
- FASS: Faculty of Arts & Social Science
- FBS: Faculty of Business Studies
- FST: Faculty of Science and Technology
- FSSS: Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies

BUP Admission Test 2023
BUP Admission Notice describes the admission test for BUP all unit. Each unit admission test will be held in different dates. You must be aware of the admission test date for your applied unit.
FASS and FBS exam is going to be held on 24 March. FST and FSSS unit exam is going to be held on 2024.

UP Admission Form 2022-23 can be filled from 20 February to 3 Marc 2023. There will be 100 mark admission test for each unit. The exam method is MCQ. Candidate has to answer 100 MCQs in one hour. There is also negative marking in the test. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be cut.
BUP Admission Test Mark Distribution
BUP admission test date is already announced. Interested candidates submit your online application as soon as possible. Then wait for the primary selection list. The selected candidates will download the admit card and participate in the admission test.

BUP Admission Form 2023
BUP Admission Circular for 2022-23 session is already released. The online application has been started from 20 February. The BUP Admission Form is one of the most important matters for the admission process. If there is any wrong information at the application time it may be harmful for your admission in BUP. That’s why you have to provide all the valid information while you submit the online application.
After the online application, students have to wait for the primary selection result. Then the admit card will be issued for the selected candidates. BUP eligible list given 16th March than selected candidates download admit card.

- Then click on ‘New Application’
- Enter your academic information [HSC and SSC]
- Select units
- Upload your photo and signature
- Preview application and submit
You will pay the application fee through bank and mobile banking system. Application fee for each unit has to be paid. You must pay fee for each unit, or the application will not be granted.
BUP FASS Unit
FASS means Faculty of Arts & Social Science. Students of science, commerce and arts can apply for this unit. There are total of 6 subjects under this faculty. These are:
- Disaster and Human Security (DHSM)
- Economics
- English
- Sociology
- Development Studies
- Public Administration (PA)
Students will get to select these subjects if he pass the admission test for this unit. Different requirements for different group is for this FASS unit.
Eligibility:
- Science: Student has to get total GPA 9.00 and individual in SSC and HSC is GPA 4.25.
- Humanities: Total GPA 8.00 (Minimum SSC & HSC GPA 4.00)
- Commerce: Total GPA 8.50 ( Minimum SSC & HSC GPA 4.00)
BUP FBS Unit
FBS full form is Faculty of Business Studies. Science, commerce and humanities students can apply for this unit. See the subject list of this unit-

- Finance
- Accounting & Information System
- Marketing
- Management
According to the BUP Admission Circular, FBS Unit has different requirements for the admission test. You should take a look at the BUP FBS requirements-
- Science: Total GPA 9.00 in both SSC and HSC ( Minimum GPA SSC/HSC GPA 4.25)
- Humanities: Total GPA 8.50 in both SSC and HSC ( Minimum GPA SSC/HSC GPA 4.00)
- Commerce: Total GPA 8.50 in both SSC and HSC ( Minimum GPA SSC/HSC GPA 4.00)
BUP FST Unit
BUP Admission Notice and BUP Admission Circular are described here for all unit. In BUP, FST means Faculty of Science and Technology. All group students can apply for this unit.
Only two subjects for FST unit-
- Information and Communication Engineering (ICE)
- Environmental Science
This unit is much famous for science group students. Only science students can apply for this unit. Take a look at the requirements-
- Total GPA 9.25 in both SSC and HSC (Minimum SSC & HSC GPA 4.50)
BUP FSSS Unit
BUP FSSS full form is Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies. Students of science, commerce and arts group can apply for this unit. Three subjects under FSSS unit-
- International Relations
- Law
- Mass Communication & Journalism
Though every candidate can apply for this unit the requirement must be fulfilled. Take a look at the requirements for each group-
- Science: Total GPA 8.50 in both SSC and HSC (Minimum SSC & HSC GPA 4.50)
- Humanities: Total GPA 8.25 in both SSC and HSC (Minimum SSC & HSC GPA 3.75)
- Commerce: Total GPA 8.25 in both SSC and HSC (Minimum SSC & HSC GPA 3.75)
Bangladesh University of Professionals Admission 2022-23
Students read the BUP Admission Circular to know all the information. After the online application, the next step is the primary selection result. It will be released on 6 March. The students who will be selected in the primary phase will get the admit card. The admit card and seat plan will be released on admission bup edu bd website.
The admit card can be checked from the official website of BUP. Only the selected candidates can check result for the admission test.
